The WM
The WM started as a fascinating synchrodestiny story in 2018 when designers Wilbanks and Mackay met at an industry event and connected over fashion. From there, a year passed while Wilbanks began working with a business coach, and Mackay attended a business conference where both were encouraged to step outside of their comfort zones, get very clear about their desires for their future business, and put all of these things down on a vision board down to the last detail. Mackay reached out to Wilbanks, recognizing a shared passion for modern design that seduces the senses and creates the best life for clients. Unbeknownst to her, Wilbanks had already created the exact same model. The two immediately created a “married in Vegas” feeling business partnership, and the rest is history.

In 2004, owners Hank and Amy White purchased Hallmark Kitchens, a cabinet distributor and kitchen design and remodeling studio in Houston, Texas. All houses that are built by Imperial Builders, LLC, are original designs by architects or based on house plans that the client wishes to replicate. If the client does not currently have an architect or plans, owner Roger Steinke, contacts well-qualified architects. He believes that engineering is a key component of the building process, and that a benefit to working with a familiar architect is that he as the builder understands the architect’s style and how the architect engineers his/her houses.
Projects are limited to two or three at a time so that Roger can be involved in every building detail. By utilizing his 30+ years of experience, his creativity and his dedication to building an honest rapport with each homeowner, Roger said his clients know that they will receive a prompt response to their questions and concerns. He pays attention to the customer’s “wish lists” to make sure that their wants and needs are included in the home’s design, he emphasized.
