Jonathan Dahl Woodworks is a hard-working group of craftsmen specializing in custom woodworks. Our work reflects the way our company has grown, focusing on quality and integrity. Founded in 1996 by master craftsman and accomplished designer Jonathon Dahl, our business has flourished over the past two decades almost entirely through referrals from happy customers.
Today, we have the capabilities to tackle both high-end residential and commercial woodworks that are successful from a functional and aesthetic perspective. We work in a vast array of styles and enjoy collaborating with designers to create a cohesive space.
We are located in Cypress, Texas about 30 miles northwest of Houston, on the site of an old dairy farm shaded by 100-year-old pecan trees. The countryside provides space necessary to manage any size project with ease, and the tranquility inspires the meticulous work we do.

When I decided to remodel my master bathroom and nothing in the market really matched the specs needed for the vanity, I knew I wanted to use Jonathon since I had been following him on IG for years. It was finally my chance to have a custom Jonathon build! I contacted him and within a week I visited his shop and started the process with an inspiration photo. I am so happy I chose to work with him because this build was atypical. The attention to detail is impeccable. The spacing between joins is so precise. I can see that they take great pride in the work they do which is so refreshing. My vanity is a piece of art! I also added on a few cabinets that matched my vanity and it really pulls the whole bathroom together. Everyday when I walk into my master I fall in love with my vanity all over again. I hope to work with Jonathon again in the future.
Working with Jonathon Dahl Woodworks and his team of carpenters was an enjoyable journey. Jonathon personally came to project site and listen to our ideas and contributed to making our dream come true. Our kitchen is one of our highest used focal point, and the details to his craftmanship surly show's. He gave us the "wow" timeless look we wanted. We had added and changed some of our original ideas as we came across new exciting features, Jonathon was able to adjust and incorporate them all without objection. They are truly, one of a kind woodworker and we will defiantly be calling on them again for my next project.
My husband and I hired Jonathon and his team to design and build custom cabinets for our new build and we couldn’t be more happy with the end result. We brought a couple inspiration pictures and Jonathon and his team made quick work of the design process with plenty of thoughtful recommendations for the design, layout and to keep things in our budget. The JDW team did a great job of keeping us up to date on the status of our items once in production and the service and support only got better during install. Jonathon’s team went above and beyond to ensure our cabinets were perfect and looked great. We can’t recommend Jonathon and his team highly enough if you’re in the market for custom cabinetry.
