All houses that are built by Imperial Builders, LLC, are original designs by architects or based on house plans that the client wishes to replicate. If the client does not currently have an architect or plans, owner Roger Steinke, contacts well-qualified architects. He believes that engineering is a key component of the building process, and that a benefit to working with a familiar architect is that he as the builder understands the architect’s style and how the architect engineers his/her houses. As the daughter of an architect, Diana lived with and around good design from an early age. The cultural arts were revered in her family, thus sprung a love and desire to be surrounded by beautiful things and creating spaces for them. After acquiring an Interior Design degree from the University of Texas, Diana worked for Index, the design firm, designing mainly hotel interiors for over eight years. Soon after and with baby in tow, she began working on homes for her own clients part-time.
