As the daughter of an architect, Diana lived with and around good design from an early age. In 2007, during the economic downturn, two of the partners of SGB were building homes for a production builder in suburbs of Houston. Due to the uncertainty in the market at the time, and the desire to build more architect/client designed homes, they made the decision to leave the production world and start something new. Focused mainly on small jobs and insurance repairs from a recent hurricane, SGB began building its processes and procedures as well as its portfolio as a reputable builder in the Houston area. All houses that are built by Imperial Builders, LLC, are original designs by architects or based on house plans that the client wishes to replicate. If the client does not currently have an architect or plans, owner Roger Steinke, contacts well-qualified architects.
